Values

  1.  Excellence
    - the learner comes first
    -
teaching and learning should be the central focus for all staff and students
    -
teaching and learning is our starting point, that if we get it right then   everything else will fall into place; get it wrong and everything else will fail
    -
support staff’s role in creating effective teaching and learning is crucial; teachers cannot do their job without them
    -
student achievement and the quality of teaching should be the final measure of the effectiveness of management, teaching staff, support staff and resource allocation
    -
in being student-centred, treating each person as an individual with a unique set of needs- each learner should fulfil his/her maximum potential
    -
target setting raises self-esteem and expectations, as well as helping to monitor progress: it is as much about creating strong student-staff relationships, coaching and  student /teacher partnership as about student monitoring
    -
in rigorous benchmarked standards of behaviour and work, setting targets and monitoring trends
    -
in a culture of high expectations for staff and learners’ refusing to accept second best
    -
all learners should fulfil their maximum potential
    -
we should provide for students of outstanding ability or those who are gifted and talented or exceptional in any way, with opportunities for them to excel
    -
there should be a relentless collective focus on continuous improvement and standards
    -
we should learn from good practice elsewhere and disseminate good practice within

    2.      Responsibility
    - we should pass on what we've learnt to help other schools and organizations to improve the quality of education in Romania
    -
all members of the school (staff and students) should be involved in directly supporting local charities and non government organizations for the betterment of our community

    3.      Creativity
    - in releasing and developing unlimited creative potential in all our students
    -
to have the self-confidence to be creative in the way we teach
    -
in being creative in the way we face work based problems: we always aim for win win

    4.       Respect for Diversity
    -
in being student-centred, treating each person as an individual with a unique set of needs- each learner should fulfil his/her maximum potential
    -
the achievements of each individual should be recognised and celebrated. we should celebrate diversity and equal opportunities for all
