Enrolment details follow, but we would be happy to arrange a tour of the school, a meeting with the relevant teachers and answer any questions that you may have. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Enrolment for 2009 / 2010 and 2010/11
Class group size is limited to 18. Where interest in classes is so great that we need to turn people down priority is given to those who expressed the earliest interest and the student will be put on a waiting list.
Admission
Our school promotes a non-discrimination policy concerning enrolment rules. Students of all nationalities or religions are welcome to our institution.
International School of Cluj offers an international education based on the National Curriculum approvedy by the Ministery of Education and Research and the International Curriculum approved by the European Comunity . Our curriculum has been adapted to meet the needs of both the Romanian and the international community.
Guidelines
The following documentation must be provided:
- Report cards from the child’s current school.
- Completed application form including all medical / immunization records.
- Verification of date of birth
- 2 ID card type photos

Interview, tests

Admission in the 1st grade:
- the school’s principal interviews the student
- oral English test

5th grade:
- oral interview
- written tests at Mathematics, English and for the Romanian students also at Romanian
The decision will be announced within three days after the interview and tests.
After admission the student will:
1. pay the admission fee
2. submit the rest of the documents
3. bring a copy of his/her medical records
4. bring a copy of the vaccination grid
5. bring a medical certificate from the family doctor
6. submit the necessary documents for granting financial support (if necessary)
