Thank you for your interest in teaching in our school.
We are expanding this year with the launch of our high school and our Cambridge programmes. We always welcome speculative applications for full and part-time positions from both Romanian and expatriate teachers.
Our school is very different from many other educational establishments in Romania. To help potential applicants decide if this is the type school they would like to teach in, we described the profile of the teachers we are looking for. Education, certifications, work-related experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree (essential) or higher (Masters degree preferred)
- Teaching experience (essential). Experience of teaching Cambridge International Examinations courses is highly desirable.
- A recognised teaching qualification (preferred)
- Experience of international travel / living and working abroad is (very highly valued but not essential)
- A recognised English language qualification (preferred but not essential for non-native speakers)
- Word processing skills (essential)
- Use of the Internet (highly desirable)
- Use information technology to assist and support teaching and learning (desirable but not essential)

2. The profile of the kindergarten employee:
Education, certifications, work-related experience and skills:
- Pedagogical high school, Child care or Preschool pedagogy graduate
- Positive, creative, communicative, open person
- English language certificate
Desirable (considered a plus):
- more than 2 years experience in teaching (definitive status)
- other training courses in Romania or abroad
- activities within other foreign kindergartens
- other activities involving preschool children
Volunteer programme:
- This programme can be joined by any person who is enroled in or who graduated from one of the institutions mentioned above (1) or by people who wish to work with young children and are willing to do retraining or pedagogical courses in order to become qualified.
- The programme lasts 6 weeks, 11 hours per week, divided into morning and afternoon sessions.
- Each applicant must fill in an application form.
- Each volunteer is monitored and receives a mark at the end of the programme, given by the person who supervised them as well as references from the kindergarten manager. These will be attached to the applicant’s file.
