Rules
The child learns the most important life lessons.
For a child, kindergarten is the first step outside the familial environment. Here the child has the first individual and group interactions. In this environment, the child prepares herself/himself for the following cognitive development.
At Happy Kids, we work to make this first experience both comfortable and successful for each child. We offer a warm, safe, pleasant environment, which is monitorized by educators with experience in the modern teaching-learning methods.
Respecting the rules is essential for our program, because it helps the child to be responsible for her/his own behavior, to respect her colleagues and their property.
Respecting these rules also at home and seeing them positively, leads to the faster learning of the rules, by the child.
At Happy Kids corporal punishments are inadmissible.
Discipline
Our role, as educators, is to facilitate learning by creating an environment in which the children can contact directly the surrounding world. This environment includes both the structured didactic activities and the free play in activity centers. We would like every child to feel comfortable and safe. We try to create an interesting environment, in which the child must feel appreciated and complimented for her/his efforts.
The children have to learn how to control their behavior by themselves, to make the right choices.
The rewards and the appreciation of their efforts create a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
The accent is put on the positive strengthening of the right behavior. The child is verbally encouraged, appreciated and rewarded by diplomas, by being let to decide what game to play, etc.
